Seleucid Empire, Antiochos III, 222-187 BC, probably Apameia on the Orontes. AR drachm, 4.16 g. (17 mm). Obverse: diademed head right. Reverse: Elephant standing to right with monogram in front, ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ above, ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ in exergue.
VF-EF, with attractive, delicate patina; an excellent example for this type with well-centered reverse.
