Lydian Kingdom, Sardis, c. 166-167 BC, AR drachm, 2.79 g. (14 mm) (cistophporic standard). Obverse: Head of youthful Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Reverse: Σ-ΑΡ, bunch of grapes, cornucopia above, below monogram of Γ and A; all within ivy wreath with fruits. An extremely rare Lydian coin, with only four similar found on Coinarchives.
VF, with attractive toning and some porosity and areas of minor roughness, well-centered.
