Ionia, Magnesia ad Meandrum, c.. mid-2nd century BC. AV stater, 8.46 g. (18 mm), Euphemos magistrate. Obverse: draped bust of Artemis right, wearing stephane, hair gathered into knot at back of head, quiver and bow over shoulder. Reverse: ΜΑΓΝΗΤΩΝ, Nike in biga right, kentron in right hand, reins in left; ΕΥΦΗΜΟΣ below horses, ΠΑΥΣΑΝΙΟΥ below ground line.

A very scarce gold stater on the Attic weight standard of about 8.5 g. and of excellent Hellenistic style, signed by Euphemos, a well-known Magnesian magistrate.
