Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type; king with large earring wearing tunic over loin cloth and carrying a sash tied on the waist, turned to left in very dynamic pose with one leg raised, holding the bow and firing an arrow at the lion to the left. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting facing on reclining lion to left, holding a lotus flower and diadem; tamgha to left and Brahmi legend to right sinhavikramah.
