Obverse: ‘lion slayer’ type; king wearing crown, a tunic over loin cloth and a sash tied at the waist, with large earring, turned to left in very dynamic pose with one leg raised, holding the bow and firing an arrow at the lion to the left, truncated Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi with halo sitting facing on lion to left, holding a lotus flower and diadem; tamgha to left and Brahmi legend to right sinhavikramah. Kumar, TOTGE 2024, Class III, variety B3.5.
