Sasanian Kingdom, Shahpur I (AD 240-272), AV dinar 7.15 g. (21 mm). Obverse: bust right, wearing diadem and mural crown with korymbos, Pahlavi inscription around. Reverse: fire altar flanked by two attendants wearing mural crowns, fravahr on altar shaft.
EF, lustrous surfaces, well-centered, full legible. Slight overlapping raised metal at 9 o'clock on the edge which is not a scratch.
