Le style "Klapmuts", caractérisé par son bord évasé aplati, était principalement destiné au marché d'exportation européen, notamment hollandais, où sa forme s'adaptait à la consommation des bouillons épais. Ce lot provient de la collection du marchand londonien Geoffrey Waters, d'après l'étiquette conservée sous la base. Vendu avec un socle séparable, en l'état.
