Mongols, Chingiz Khan, 1206-1227, AV dinar, 2.22 g. (21.5 mm), Bukhara mint. Obverse: chingiz khan/al-'adil a/l-a'zam (Chingiz Khan, the just, the great. Reverse: possibly the Shahada (‘There is no god but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God’) in three lines.
Fine, crudely struck but legible. An extremely rare coin with a nice strike for this crudely manufactured series.
A similar coin sold in Stephen Album auction 33, 2018, lot 565 (hammer 6000 usd).
