Obverse: ‘king and Lakshmi’ type, king standing left, looking right, holding longbow, Lakshmi (?) standing right and looking left, offering an object to the king, Garuda standard in center, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi seated facing, holding diadem and long-stemmed lotus, Brahmi legend to right, sri skandaguptah.
About EF, very well defined features.
A very rare type, with only two of this type identified on Coinarchives, one being Stephen Album auction 29, 2017, lot 1350 (hammer 30.000 usd). Kumar, Treasures, notes 41 coins known to exist, with 15 coins in museums.
