Gupta Empire, Chandragupta II, c. 380-413, AV dinar, 7.78 g. (20 mm). Obverse: ‘chhatra’ type; king standing left, sacrificing on a fire (or dropping incense), attendant at right holding parasol over the king, circular Brahmi legend around. Reverse: Lakshmi, walking left, holding long-stemmed lotus flower in her left hand, and diadem in right, with tamgha to left and Brahmi legend to right, Vikramaditya, dotted border around. Very rare.
