Chinese gold sycee boat-shaped ingot, 180.65 g. (50mm x 15mm). In the style of Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) with calligraphic inscription in four columns on upper surface. A Chinese gold yuanbao ingot with smoothly contoured sides and a concave top, featuring the iconic shape associated with traditional Chinese currency. This ingot has not been authenticated as a rare Ming Dynasty sycee; sold as is. Approximate gold bullion value 18.200 CHF (as of August 2026).
Metallurgy testing: 21 karat gold (Au 85%, Ar 13.8%, Cu 1.2%).
