Egypt, Ptolemaios II 'Philadelphos', 285-246 BC, AR tetradrachm, 14.13 g. (28 mm). Obverse: Diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, wearing aegis around neck. Reverse: ΠTOΛEMAIOY ΣΩTHPOΣ, eagle with closed wings standing to left on thunderbolt; in left field, ΣΙ above monograms.
VF, strongly struck with high portrait relief, some dark deposits to both sides.
